2022 logo

I was immediately struck with the concept for 2022 after moving into our new glass- walled home on the 12th floor. My 365-day vigil capturing the fascinating succession of skyscapes from our bedroom window spoke volumes about the random nature of our lives.
The scale of the piece is heroic at 4.75 ft. high x 8.417 ft. wide and documents the swift transitions from tedium to ecstasy.    From turbulence to calm to ordinary to breathtaking.
These are the relentless markers of the fleeting days of our lives.

More To Come
A New Series

This series celebrates emerging Americans and their work ethic, their ambition,
their grit, and courage.
But most of all their optimism. Like those previous waves of  immigrants and minorities who proved so capable and made such remarkable contributions to our country’s greatness, we eagerly anticipate this
generation’s rise.
In addition to the two series pictured, several more are in the works paying tribute to law enforcement, fire fighters, food workers and healthcare providers. Each series is 18 x 81 inches. Archival pigment on canvas.

Victor Sonder’s meteoric rise began as Founder/Creative Director of Sonder Levitt & Sagorsky Advertising. The agency’s long, remarkable run garnered industry-wide recognition and numerous regional, national, and international creative awards.
The agency’s major successes included launching the Pennsylvania Lottery and overseeing their rise to No. 1 in the nation, Wendy’s Old-Fashioned Hamburgers and Founder Dave Thomas’ first TV appearances, numerous local, state, and even national political campaigns, and many of the Mid-Atlantic region’s best-remembered campaigns.
Victor then began a second distinguished career launching the Commercial Production Division of NFL Films and working as a Director/Writer for many of the League’s most prominent national sponsors.
“My background as a writer, art director and film director gave rise to my new mission in the field of fine arts.” Victor looks forward to what lies ahead as an artist.
